About me
No, I don’t do the usual glowy photos you see when you Google “graduation photos” and I won’t make you stand in a field at sunset.
I graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2018 with a degree in Art History and Italian. And no, I don’t currently use my degree at my job. I have over 10 years of experience shooting film and digital.
Inevitably people ask, “Why film? Isn’t that expensive?” Film has the ability to capture a softer image that conveys an emotion and sense of nostalgia that digital just can’t. That being said, shooting film has made me a better digital photographer. I don’t spray and pray, instead I take the time to compose the shot and nail the exposure. I won’t waste your time and money taking 200+ shots, spending hours editing, only to return 20 usable photos that cost an arm and a leg.
My aim is to work with clients and within their budget to produce photos that make them smile.
